The OFDR allows the detection/localization of the reflecting discontinuities inside an optical fiber.
Main functionalities:
Acquisition of the distance between each discontinuity or between an arbitrary pair of them.
Distributed measurement and temperature monitoring
Detection of the behaviour along a section of the fiber between two sensors (compression, expansion)
